Julie & Mike’s Elegant Spring Wedding at The Woodlands Country Club

I first met Julie and Mike at The Woodlands Country Club open house and instantly connected with them. They were planning what felt like a destination wedding, since most of their friends and family were traveling in from Chicago—this made the whole day feel extra special and full of excitement here in Texas.
Their wedding was full of thoughtful touches, starting with a sweet (and slightly drizzly) first look on the balcony of the country club. Then, their floral-filled ceremony in front of the fireplace was the perfect cozy and romantic setting to exchange vows. The spring color palette of soft blues, pinks, whites, and greenery made everything feel fresh and timeless, and Piney Rose created the dreamiest arrangements for the mantle and reception tables.
We lucked out with clear skies after the ceremony, and their portraits on the golf course were surrounded by the most lush, green backdrop.
One of my favorite parts of the day was the reception—glow wands, cowboy hats, and a packed dance floor thanks to DJ Joe Fig. They even brought in traditional Polish dancers to honor their heritage, and the performance was such a fun surprise for their guests!
Julie and Mike’s day was full of love, joy, and beautiful personal details. It was such an honor to be the one to capture it all.
Special thanks to Andrea at The Woodlands Country Club who made sure everything ran seamlessly, and shout out to all the incredible vendors who brought their magic to create such a beautiful and memorable day!
